Strange question, KVS isn't helping and I haven't gotten an answer from AP. Looking for the MPM for YEG -> CUN I know it doesn't really fit the mini-RTW but it's part of a spreadsheet I'm building.

If you find a Fare that allows such a routing, you can.

Thanks, that gets us a lot of options for stopovers.

Now, can we have LX back?

Can anyone tell me where would be the furthest airport in Canada from ICN?

I'm trying to find a way to travel from ICN to MAD to YUL, then back to ICN, but would go anywhere else than YUL in Canada if necessary in order to make it work (I would simply redeem for a domestic flight once in Canada). Also, I would easily position in Japan for this. I tried from TPE, and couldn't find a workable itinerary. The only time I got something working was from HKG, but if possible I'd rather do it from ICN... going to HKG for 3 people would be a bit (too) expensive.

Newfoundland, no?

Easier to use HKG as using it as a destination affects YQ calculations

Due to the polar route both YYZ and YHZ are actually farther from ICN than YYT: http://www.gcmap.com/mapui?P=icn-yyt;icn-yhz;icn-yyz

I'd point out that OZ flights departing ICN seem to be YQ-free as well as of recent, if that makes any difference.

That's great... now, I only need to find a way to make a stop at MAD (or somewhere else "around there") from ICN before ultimately arriving at YUL.

Any suggestions? All I could find always involved positioning in HKG; otherwise, I never had enough mileage to work with.

Incidentally, if this isn't the best place to post, please let me know.

Quick question. My routing of YYZ×SFO×ICN×BKK×SYD×AKL (OJ) WLG×SIN×NRT×YYZ is calculated at 17100 miles RT. Is that valid for NA-Oceania?

EDIT: I'll answer my own question. No. You're capped at about 14-15k miles.

That said, YYZ-EWR/JFK-ICN-SYD-AKL-HND-PEK-YYZ is valid. Only $950 in J The AKL-HND leg is in a NZ 789 so I'm pretty pumped.

I called Aeroplan to ask for a bunch of MPMs recently, both for writing blog posts and planning some of my own trips.

NYC-PER 18633
YYC-PER 15374
YUL-PER 18164
YVR-MRU 16700
YVR-SEZ 14956
YYJ-MRU 16718
LAX-MRU 18356
SFO-MRU 17998
YVR-JNB 16362
LAX-JNB 16585
SFO-JNB 16863
PPT-CDG 16065
AKL-CDG 18952
BDA-PER 20444
PVG-EZE 20142
SIN-UIO 20279
YYC-CPH 7958
YUL-TYO 9071
YOW-OSA 9256

I'll add all of these to the wiki. I did learn something new though - it seems that MPMs aren't absolute. One agent said that there's a general MPM, and then slightly different variations if you want to route through a certain intermediate city. Usually the difference is very minor (about 10-20 miles).
