Can someone explain how to get the availablity from flightstat? Is that open to anyone or just TA?

That should be the reason. It is usully $30/segment for advanced seat selection. Not many people want to pay for that fee.

Use this link. But to use on a mobile device you need to go to "desktop mode" at the bottom of the webpage.

You used to have to provide an email to sign up, but I haven't come across the log in page in months. I think they removed it.

Flight is now Y=4 J=3 (It was Y=1 and J= 6)

Looks like three elites got their upgrade

With only Y=4, there are still over 10-15 seats left in the preferred seats (row 12-16). Looks like if you buy the lowly tango fair, and dont select a seat, you'll get a seat with more legroom.
