I didn't think this was quite worthy of posting in the Mileage run forum, so I will here.
Air Canada LAX-ZRH (and other European destinations, I tried Lyon as well) via YUL or YYZ in Exec. first pricing out at about $1500 each way, vs. the usual $2500 for travel in June/July. Other timing and destinations may be similarly priced, I didn't dig too deeply, but wanted to share this info while the flights were still available! Based on current econ fares, first class pricing is just double the former.

Tried with same departure date (Jul 10) and Z fare was double what you got ($1422 plus taxes and fees). Did you use a code? What was your return date? Any dates I try around that time give similar or pricier result.
Thanks for the heads up. BOS-YYZ-CPH is $3+K cheaper for two of us, return than just YYZ-CPH. Now to decide if I want to spend $6.5K on those tickets or hope for a seat sale to Europe out of NYC later in the spring.
Additional to my earlier post...flights that include segments on code share Swiss (for example YUL-ZRH) appear to ticket in Z class and that equals 175% RDM (and 125% PQM) which is a nice bonus as well.
Taxes and fees do add a huge amount- if you use Air Canada.com in USA-mode, the total fee is displayed (guess it has to do with US FTC rules) while the Canadian version of the site excludes fees from the main price list until the flight is selected...
Still, at $3K for round-trip business class LAX-ZRH I think that's about $2K off the usual fare.
AC flights are usually cheaper from the US, I have been saying all of last year this, that is why I add a US destination on my cross country trips as it saves me money!
