Yes, you should earn 18,443 +/- 50 miles. However, it will not help you in meeting the AC status segment/status mile requirement if you are attempting to go for AC status.
The other thing I never got with UA bookings was why they let 45/53 minute connection times slide. Looks pretty risky...
--EDIT---
Wait... Might want to check UA9726... It's operated by Air Japan, which I believe is ANA. Might want to check what booking class that books with on ANA. Might be 50% status miles with AE...

Reason: Omission
Air Japan is a charter airline that operates scheduled flights under the ANA brand. Since ANA doesn't operate the flight, I'm not sure if you are entitled to any miles (status or otherwise) as Air Japan is not a Star Alliance carrier.
Hopefully some others who have flown a UA code on Air Japan can tell us what the real scoop is with regard to collecting Aeroplan miles.

I got full miles on that same flight, although that was 2 years ago. Don't worry about the Air Japan part, it will be treated same as NH.
for the return you usually need to search
HKG-GUM (day 1)
GUM-YOW (day 2)
or
HKG-HNL (day 1)
HNL-YOW (same day)
Thank you so much for your help, but YOW-ORD-IAH/LAX-HNL-GUM-HKG-HNL-YOW is over $2K...
I think I am going to do
YOW-NRT (Stay in Tokyo for 2 days)
NRT-HKG
HKG-SFO-IAD-YOW
Which gives me 19003 miles

NH has classes that credit 50%, 70%, and 100% miles to AE. OP might want to check which booking class that flight books into if OP is going to fly ANA.
