MLL peeve

I was in the YUL MLL on Friday and all the computers desks were occupied, mostly by people with their own laptops.

Why cannot they use the desks without the computers? Connections are there. They are tying up useful facilities which others cannot use.

Very inconsiderate and I think AC needs to address this problem.

While we are at it, I will add my own pet peeves:
- telephones to make local calls are disappearing like dinosaurs in MLL's. Down to one in YOW, ditto in YYZ;
- FT's who leave their garbage at the computer terminals. Clean up after yourself, your not at home1

That sounds like it would make this problem even worse

I have an explanation. There aren't that many desks that don't have computers on them, so sometimes all these desks are already occupied.

Seriously? What makes you think it's people from FT that leave their garbage?

Two things:
We are supposed to be professionals

So, do not stand in front of the chips and eat there, double dipping is not allowed

When using the washroom, WASH YOUR F&#7ing hands as people do notice

This.

It is unbelievable this even has to be mentioned in the professional world. My college dormitory full of 18 year olds had a higher standard of hygiene than many patrons of the MLL.

Tiered pricing already exists in the MLL. From the AC website:

"Tiered Bandwidth ranges
Air Canada Super Elite and Elite members enjoy easier Internet access through the Datavalet sign-in page by simply typing in their Aeroplan number.

And now, as an exclusive offer to these members, Air Canada provides its highest level of Wi-Fi bandwidth speed to meet all of their Internet needs. Tiered Bandwidth ranges are offered as follows:

Gold for Super Elite and Elite members
The highest level of bandwidth available to browse, download e-mails with large attachments, stream videos, etc.

Silver for all other qualifying Air Canada customers (including Executive Class passengers)
An upgraded bandwidth speed for all of your browsing, e-mailing and social media needs.

Bronze* for Star Alliance Gold cardholders traveling in Economy Class and guests from other partner airlines.
Regular bandwidth speeds for web browsing and e-mails.

*Bronze Level Bandwidth can be upgraded to Silver for $3.99CAD for a 24-hour period."

All you A3*Gs out there better pay $3.99 to upgrade to Silver...

These are your only pet peeve's? I think not. How about the fact that, I rarely see different food from one to the next, and that is going back 3-5 years since I started patronizing the MLL. But the pee hands does irk me.

Not washing hands after using public restroom is pretty common issue not limited to MLL

Some flights it seems I'm the only one to use the soap in the rest room as well, a lot of humans need training on hygiene.
