Entry Fee to Argentina - Need to apply in advance

Important Information for Customers Traveling to Argentina

September 20, 2012 – American, Canadian and Australian travelers arriving in Argentina at either Ezeiza or Jorge Newberry airports in Buenos Aires are required to pay an entry fee upon arrival in the country. This fee is currently collected at the airport, but will need to be paid in advance online as of the following dates:

• Jorge Newbery Airport (AEP): Online payment is required for arrival on and after October 1, 2012
• Ezeiza International Airport (EZE): Online payment is required for arrival on and after December 29, 2012

If the fee is not paid in advance by or after these dates, and proof of payment is not provided upon arrival, travelers will be denied entry into Argentina.

The fee payment will continue to be accepted at the airport upon arrival until the dates indicated above.

To pay your entry fee online, you need to create an account on Provincia Pagos. Be sure to print out your receipt as proof of payment and take with you to Argentin
