NEW: Seat selection For bookings made elsewhere than on aircanada.com
Coming soon…
If you booked your flight with a travel agent or on another website, you will soon be able to select your seat online. We are currently working on this new feature and are hoping to make it available within the next few days.
Please check back with us later

On GDS it's already possible...
9V/S(segment number)/(desired seat number)

I wonder if this was inspired by the lack of businesses using the business rewards program due to the lack of this feature.

I like this a lot!!! Compnay forces us to book through travel agent (and most times on their website we are unable to select AC seats). This is most welcome!

How about showing bookings in 1 spot on the AC web site regardless of where they are made? I currently have to check 4 places for my bookings, even though they're all through official AC channels:
- AC site bookings page
- AC site flight pass bookings page
- Aeroplan bookings page
- bookings made by an AC agent over phone (must enter PNR manually)
