supportive spouse

On a mileage run last weekend, my wife:

1. Thought I was crazy
2. Was too embarrassed to tell anyone what I was doing

But when I came home late and tired I had this to welcome me at the door:

Sometimes it's the little things.

She's just using you for the upgrades.
You'll be ditched at the first sign of a 3MMer.

Ironic - since I've always told Mrs. YVR I'd leave her in an instant for a 2MM or 3MM!

MR'ers spouses need some sort of support group where they can talk about each others' spouses travelling around the country/world on ridiculous itineraries just to get some airline "currency" and a gold/platinum card with their name on it...

Super Elite Day!

On Friday night I came home from my last trip of the year.

The following day was declared Super Elite Day and I was presented with an AC inspired meal!

Gosh. I would hope the stuff we eat at home on a daily basis would consistently be better than airline food.

At the end of the day, in the best case scenario, airline food doesn't go beyond lesser evil. AC probably no longer being the worst offender BTW.

Main qualities being that (1) it's served on a plane and (2) takes no work, just gets served.
