how long it will take to receive the confirmation email?

after the reward reservation made online?

Does it make a difference? Once they charge your CC for the taxes/booking fee, the tickets are confirmed.

In my experience it has been anywhere from 10 minutes to 10 hours.

Other airline's confirmation #'s aren't on the AE itinerary anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

Did you write down the Reservation # you got from Aeroplan? Go to aircanada.com, Manage My Bookings, and use that confirmation # - you'll find your ticket #.

I checked that, however, there is no e-ticket #, weird

There will be within 12 hrs.
You can often call the *A airline and even within that time frame they will have the travel details accessible via date and name of travel...
