Air Canada expands service to seven more American cities
New service starting from Toronto to Orange County (Santa Ana) and San Diego, California; Portland, Oregon; Memphis, Tennessee; Cincinnati, Ohio; Portland, Maine; and Syracuse, New York.

I guess these will all be EM90 flights. WOW that will drain the tanks on the plane going to SAN
perhaps these are code shares with CO?

PDX is an E90; SAN/SNA are 319s. CVG/MEM are CRJs and PWM/SYR are Beeches.

Interesting alternative to LAX. I just checked the reservation system and I'm still showing YYZ to SAN via DEN/ORD/SFO, etc. I guess this will take a little while to kick in, etc.

Actually nice to see SYR added to the list. Saves me the 4 hour drive.

Someone said the other day; its so great AC has so many flights from YUL/YYZ; yea thats because all flights leave from YYZ.

None of these are places I see myself travelling to, but it is good to see AC expand their network.
I do still shudder at the thought of the transborder security rituals at YYZ though. This is the only reason I'm not going to the US.

Indeed. YEG gets a daily to LAX and a couple weekly LAS flights. At least the US carriers provide decent schedules and choice here.

At least those are both in the same region - how about SYD and YQY!
