How To: Affix Air Canada Baggage Tags?

Really dumb question, I recently got my Air Canada Elite Baggage Tags but have no idea how to put them on?

Any suggestions? Should I just turn them back in? HAHA

Your package should include a couple of plastic loops. Stick one end (A) through the luggage tag, then stick the other end (B) through A. Tighten. Then stick B through a handle on your luggage, and stick A (with attached tag; it can be tight) through B.

When did you actually hit elite? Kinda curious how long it took to get your package..

Just hit it not too long ago, but was travelling and just got the package. Made the Oct 15 cut off.

I actually bought some cheapie leather luggage name tags, chucked out the name tags, and only used the leather strap.

The elastic bands provided in the Elite package are notoriously unreliable.

Ah you have not been around long enough ... the ones I am using from AE are in fact leather - not the plastic ones they give today

can you order additional luggage tags? i seemed to have lost one somewhere between checking my luggage and picking them up on the belt on my last YYZ-YVR....
