Flights to Entebe Uganda

I'm planning a trip to Entebe in Uganda from Wash DC or NYC this summer. I have already searched some of the standard search sites. The best prices I have found are aroung 1,500-1.600. Any ideas for a cheaper price

You can try via Dubai with Emirates (esp if you can fly out of JFK), UA also goes IAD-DXB. Ethiopian sometimes had good deals to Entebbe.

Emirates via DXB is your best bet.
BA should still fly to Kampala, as should Kenya Airways, Ethiopian and Brussels.

It's a long detour from London though, unless of course you get up mid-flight and say "Take this plane to Entebbe" (with apologies to the victim of the hijacking that ended there in the 70's)

Cheaper during the Summer may be tough. Brussels has some Fall fares around USD 1200 (plus taxes). Schedule-wise Brussels is pretty good (but the transatlantic is code-shared with a US carrier like American).

I have flown to Entebbe on Brussels and have nothing but good to say about them (we flew in business, though).

Cheers,
T.

KLM too

I've done the KLM run down or back a few times. Doesn't go every day, though, unfortunately.
