Transport between Malabo (Equatorial Guinea) and Douala (Cameroon)?

Any recommendations for transport / transfers between Malabo (arriving) and Douala (catching a cruise)? (Ending in Dakar, Senegal, and easy to catch Iberia to MAD there.)

I flew the opposite way on Ethiopian last year. Pretty expensive for such a short flight ($211) but it's really the only option.

I'll have to check how often these flights are available - ah, Su, Mo, We, Fri.

Thanks!

You can take the Camair-co airlines between these two cities, the fleet is B737-700, new aircraft with 137 seats (12 business). This is the web site: www.camair-co.cm/. Have a nice trip.

I haven't flown Camair-co on this route yet but helped a friend get a ticket on them Douala-Malabo and his flight was on time with no problems.

FYI - I have been in Douala airport a number of times and it is not a nice airport; was hassled by customs there a couple times for no good reason, just people wanting bribes. Yaounde is a little better experience for visitors to Cameroon but doesn't look like that is an option for you.

I'll "up the ante" here, rather than start a new thread.

I need to travel between Douala, Malabo and Libreville. Bus and taxi brousse are fine, if not terribly inefficient or dangerous. Any experience with Cronos Airlines?

After some distractions, I'm back to planning this travel. A couple of changes: I can't fly Ethiopian, since they won't sell me a ticket without being at their office in person. i can buy through a StarAlliance partner at double the price (US$821 for a 30-minute portal-to-portal). And Cam-Air no longer flies to Malabo (based on current website schedule).

I've heard rumors of a ferry...

I see SSG-DLA for $214 on Kayak/Expedia/etc, or $233 for v.v. on Ethiopian. No need to visit an office.

They do that route only certain days of week in each direction though.
