EI Award Availability dried up for summer?
Last year we booked BOS-DUB in January for a July trip and they were wide open in Econ and Biz, now July and August is completely blank, not one award seat in any class. Is anyone else seeing this too? Even BOS-SNN is empty.

There's some summer BOS-DUB now
I had checked for availability as recently as a week ago and saw nothing for July and this post gave me hope there'd still be some seats in the future. I happened to check this past weekend (12/4) and there was quite a few seats BOS-DUB available for many dates in July. Was able to get my travel booked. Good luck!
Edit: This was booked via BA using Avios.

I wonder are EI holding on to their Premier seats in the hope of pax bidding for upgrades. On a recent EI108 flight ex JFK, Premier was showing about 7 seats spare (not allocated) at check in. On boarding the flight the flight was full and the guy beside me said EI had accepted his bid of €450 for an upgrade. Perhaps the use of accepting bids in much more widely practiced than originally thought.

No, the A320 does not have the range to do even SNN-BOS nonstop. EI have some leased 757s that they use accross the Atlantic with Premier class. The 757s will not be getting lie-flat seats.

I did mean 330s since the other poster mentioned that only the 330s were getting the refit, and only 330s fly to DUB from the US. So it doesn't even apply to this thread. But that's cleared up now, so all the flights to IE from the US will have the new Biz, it's just a matter of when.
