All the business space class space released earlier in the week has either been booked or recalled. We are back to U0 across the board...

Looks like this "deal" is about to get a lot more expensive according to new mileage awards released today by BA

From what I can tell, BOS-DUB in coach is still 12,500 Avios under the new scheme, although business goes up from 25,000 to 37,500.

For other eastern US cities (JFK, ORD, IAD, etc.) coach is still 20,000, while business goes up to 60,000.

Could I ask please, I have a booking in Y for BOS-LHR return in August. Really wanted J but nos uch luck. I am actually going to MIA afterwards via United.

With all the changes there is a J BA flight one way coming back.

Am I able to amend my booking via the phone so that I can go one way now and cancel the return journey and save some avios?

Many thanks

Business Class space through early June seems to have opened up again. Nothing other than economy later than that however.

It has availability pretty much from Oct 2015 onwards, but only shows 2 seats for economy and 0 for business for most flights. Have yet to see 2 in business... they are probably blocking =(

It goes very quickly, and will reappear pretty randomly, however the trend I've noticed in the last 6 months is that around ~11 months out is the best time to snag, then they may reappear at will, however I wouldn't count on it.

And does EF seem accurate or is it possible that ringing BA may yield completely different results?

I called BA a couple weeks ago to check against the availability (or lack thereof) on United and ExpertFlyer and they said they saw the same as United and Expertflyer showed. For fall of 2015, its consistently just 2 econ awards and no business awards. EI is almost certainly blocking the space right now.

Thanks. Wouldnt say I'm surprised if they are blocking the new biz seats...just disappointed!

hmm.. I've been checking the award avail. on almost a daily basis. For Oct. and Nov. 2015, there were a lot of econ seats available, but not business. Now, all of a sudden, it appears that as of today, a lot of award seats just disappeared. Booked? Maybe, but I'd be surprised that dozens of consecutive award seats just got booked in a day or two.

I think EI is manipulating seat availability right now, so I'd be on the lookout for a sudden dumping of seats. Let's hope for business!
