Suit carrier on board

Hi,

I'm travelling to Cork today for a wedding and I wanted to use my suit carrier for my kilt outfit.

I believe it is about 4cm too big in one dimension, am I likely to be challenged? I don't want to put my kilt in the hold preferably

Regards.

I can't imagine it would be any problem. It won't faze the on-board crew, but I don't know about the Heathrow gate agents.

Thanks but I've bottled it. Going to cram it a bit into a hold case.

I can't afford for them to insist it goes below as a suit carrier could be very vulnerable to damage in a hold
