Tier Miles vs. Award Miles Earning Rates

Do tier miles and award miles earn at the same rate for all qualifying flights?

For example, if I fly BR in C and credit to A3, it earns at 130%. Is that for both award and tier?
In other words, if my fly BR on a 6000 mile segment on C, will I receive both 7800 award and tier miles or will I receive 7800 award miles and 6000 tier miles?

I ask because other airlines distinguish between EQM and RDM and sometimes both earn at different rates!

Yes, you earn at the same rate - A3 does not differentiate between tier and award miles so far as earning is concerned.

you see a difference because as gold you have now a bonus on award miles.

Definitely no! Check under "My transactions": for Golds, after November 24 the award miles are 25% more than the tier miles!

Yes, but only on A3 metal - the OP's question was about earning on BR!

Indeed, and it's 20% (10% for silver), not 25%.

My math teacher used to tell my mother that I was good in math but my bad grades were used to the fact that I was not so much interested in it. He was right in the second part and absolutely wrong in the first!

I have also the same concern for earning tier and award miles for Star Alliance partner flights in A3 Miles&Bonus,is it really both the same miles earned?

Thank you for quick response, I wish not to have any affect due to economic frustration.

Finally it is both 200% tier and award miles of my account, that's one of the best FFP in the long run.

From LHR-ADD it is about 3659 award and tier miles, I believe Ethiopianair still gives 100% miles to all classes when crediting to A3.

It seems able to purchase up to 2000 tier miles in a calendar year.
