Just in general throwing in another one here. I fly mostly SQ, TG and every now and then OZ, NH or the odd TK or LH. With some carriers and at some outstations I still run into challenges getting my A3 number into the system and onto my BP even after guiding the check in staff.
In several of these cases I just gave up and told them not to enter any FFP# and I will retro claim later. I was still able to access the lounge (used my LH SEN or A3 *G) in each case. Maybe luck or more relaxed rules in SE Asia, but it would put one into a difficult situation if the exact *G has to show on the BP. Not realistic in my view as they can't ensure this always works properly.
