If they live with you. I want to fly a parent living in another state to me for a visit, but they have to reside at the same address as me to qualify for family pooling.
Conversely, I can book them on Qantas and they will earn the status credits but can get them to transfer the points to me. I really don't want to book them on Qantas, but...
