I nominated lifetime status because I am very close to LTG.

Note that arrivals access is only for Platinum (OneWorld Emerald) level members.

Not for lower levels.

There is NO "additional award seat availability" in my experience, in comparing award availability using the QF booking engine where I am Platinum One and those of other airlines, such as AA, where I have no status.

Proposed alternate benefit

I would have voted for any seat award due to the ability to "convert" points to status before the changes to the booking system a few months ago which resulted in:
  • redemption rates being calculated on route flown not point to point distance, thus destroying the value of multi-sector awards for status runs on marginal any seat awards (e.g. CNS-BNE-PER-BME was a base of 36,000 points, now 70,000 points
  • marginal any seat awards being removed from online booking forcing a phone call for a quote on points/cost

I nearly voted for lifetime status, since once attained lifetime gold means I can divert my loyalty to another far more rewarding scheme than that of QF, notably, AAdvantage, except I seem to have remained Platinum easily anyway.

Significantly, both the anyseat award and lifetime status features are points of differentiation to Virgin Australia.

BUT...the current winner is the ability to redeem onto the extensive Emirates network, with the excellent first class product on the A380.

Yep, for Platinum and Platnum Ones - the arrivals access was removed some time ago as was the any time access for Platinums...

None of the listed ones provide any real benefit for me.

For me the best 'benefit' is receiving the equivalent tier with One World

The unwritten rule is that for SG, WP and P1 they will release seats for you if you call them up. Never tried it myself but know guys (WPs) that find flights with lots of D class seats left but no awards online and then call and ask them to release a seat for them

Nothing worth voting for ...

1000 minimum points

- Used to be 1 point per km (.7 for discount economy)

Choice Rewards when hitting 2400 SCs

- used to be 2100 (PG only but)

Domestic Lounge Access on arrival incl 2 guests

- Used to be full anytime access

Additional award seat availability

- Existed somewhat originally, but have not seen this for since at least 2011.

Any Seat Awards

- The only ones I am interested in have gone offline and are now a PITA to book.

Lifetime Status

- Been around for over a decade perhaps last century, introduce LT WP and then I'd vote!

I nominate a different benefit – see my post below (POST YOUR SUGGESTION BELOW)

- Yawn ...

QF was cutting back many things that affected me (and my wife):
- No access for QF-Club on BA flights
- No Status Bonus and Minimum Miles on BA
- Only QF SCs count for Loyalty Bonus
- PG from 2100 to 2400 SCs
- Reduction of QF/BA Codeshares
- Enhancement of the ASA

A few things that are still good or new:
- More flight opportunities with EK
- Status Recognition on EK
- Lifetime Status (soon will hit gold) hopefully they will introduce a LTP like BA
- Cash&Miles Redemption

The 1000 Miles do not affect me much, as most QF codes were pulled off my flights and I have to buy them with BA codes.

Still QF is not that bad with enhancements as other FFPs like LH.

I nominate a different category "Ability to earn points on other carriers with limited options = Many Fiji Airways (former Air Pacific) routes only accrue points on QFF". So I have QF as my One World/Fiji Airways card. I fly FJ frequently, but usually only do about one or two QF segments a year (at least four required), so I have well over a hundred thousand QF points but only bronze. Now with the code share with EK those benefits are interesting. I was Emirates Skywards Silver (seemed like gold on any other) - would love to get back to status on them, and am now looking to see if I can transfer points across from QF to help with this aim.
