Thumbs up Palais Omnisports Paris Bercy (POPB) becomes Accorhotels Arena

Very frequent in the US but not that much in Europe (at least in France), a stadium is re-branded/sponsored by a large corporation. POPB is a very famous place in Paris for sport events and big concerts is now called Accorhotels Arena. This is the 2nd largest place for that kind of events in the Parisian area (the largest one being Stade de France just outside Paris in St Denis). Bercy has just been renovated and enlarged for the seating capacity (from 17K to about 20k people at its maximum capacity). The naming contract between Accor and the city of Paris is for 10 years with a possible extension.

What is a good news for us here (for French and mostly Parisian members) is that we'll have access to privilege tickets sales (including pre-sales) and privilege seating for concerts or sport events. And some Elite benefits are also underway like having access to a private lodge. So overall more benefits and possibilities to use points. Excellent move by Accor ^

Don't know why you say unfortunately, one of the best rock bands and live shows around. If I lived in Paris I would be there in a heartbeat!

Agreed. I don't like them to the point to go to one of their concert but definitely a great band. And they are extremely popular.

I think nrouxel meant: unfortunately it's not a platinum vs Accor rugby match.

Hello Goldorak,

Thanks for your message. As a LCAH member, you will have access to :
• a LCAH loge for 2 people that you can book with your points
• the best seats for each concert or event
• 48h exclusive pre-sales for the biggest shows (depending on the artist’s choice of ticket availability)

Best,
Amy

Thank you Amy. Sounds good
For the loge using points, I have indeed already received such an offer by e-mail for the Muse concert.
What about a club lounge Plat could have access to before the show for drinks and canapés, providing you have booked your ticket through the eligible channel (ticketmaster) ? That would be a great benefit ^

After the events at Air France I'm sure senior staff are more cautious to come anywhere near us

Goldorak,

In the loge there will be one head water, drinks and canapés at your disposal.
If you book “normal” tickets, you will have access to the AccorHotels Lounge, a bar reserved for LCAH members who have booked through the eligible channel.

Best,

Amy
