YYZ to SYD in Jan or Feb
I'm trying to find a cheap route YYZ-SYD in late Jan or early Feb for a 10 day stay. The bargains available in September and October appear to have disappeared. Anyone have any idea if there will be some cheaper fares on AC or UA appearing between now and the end of the year?

It's always more expensive to travel at that time than in the fall as it is peak season downunder and in Hawaii where the AC flights transit through. Could still have deals though.

Welcome to FT, OhCanada. I am also always on the lookout for cheap flights to Oz. Others on this board have advised me to check
www.jetsettravel.ca as they offer some great fares, including those on *Alliance carriers.
I usually travel to MEL in late Feb-early March and have certainly been able to find good fares the last few years on AC or UA.
Good luck. I'll let you know if I hear of anything.

You'll notice that my signature only quotes a few words - I'm old enough that I still can't figure the English words out after they were changed!
