Great Service from SuperElite Desk (Again)
Just reporting that I had great service from the SuperElite desk again. I had booked a flight for late September and had already upgraded when I got a call from married friends of mine. She had been booked by her organization on a flight she didn't want (later that day) while I had booked her husband a reward ticket in business class on the same flight as me. She tried to get her organization to change it to the earlier flight (AC146) so she could be with her husband and me but her travel agent told her that there were no seats available on AC146 in that fare class, even with paying a change fee.
I told her to give me the details and I would sort it out as ITN showed me L fare seats available (lots). I phoned SuperElite desk and explained the situation. They looked at her file and had her on our flight within seconds.
She still had to go to the AC ticket office to get it reissued (with a $100 change fee, or so I thought). When she got there, the agent said "oh this ticket was just booked this week--we won't charge you for the change." GOOD DEAL AC!
Not only that but based on advice I got here, I phoned back to SE desk and got her upgraded on our flight so we are all going in J class upgraded from L fares. We are all travelling on behalf of different charities so it was good to be able to make their journey (and mine) more comfortable with those Super Elite upgrades and the super Super Elite service!

Hey, I am in Germany and all I can report from the SE desk OR the ticket office in Frankfurt (Anne-Marie Linck, Sales Coordinator, she is TERRIFIC!) is outstanding service.
The only time I have had poor service when phoning the SE desk is when it is busy and a 'regular' AC employee gets the call. Then all hell breaks loose....get treated like crap!
