They are indeed. Ops Agents meet inbound flights, assist with the passenger offload, and many give a hand to the FAs in cleaning the cabin. They are the Employees that board the aircraft, in addition they provide the Pilots with weight and balance information--like total passengers, bags, and cargo on board. Gate Agents handle with the checkin process. Both positions are very vital to our operation, and everyone's job relies on each other, but the Ops Agents are like the quarterback of the turn.
