I agree with Roger on that, AA and LX are trying to "build" a large network together.
A lot of code share flights already in use and more to come I hope.
Why not apply online for a LX card:
If you already have 14k, you should get 1k for signing up, then 2k and 2k for e-news, almost enough for a return Y-tket in Europe.
Don t forget, you can fly up to 8 segments with a free tket in Europe...
