I bought mine on the website and there was a box to say id read the terms and conditions (which I couldn't access, but clicked the box). The change booking option wasnt available on the web, so I rang the call centre. Changed it, paid fare difference, checked on the website and there were cheaper tickets on the same flight!?
Yes, I think they will say of bad luck - but let me know how you go. They gave me the address for customer service. After 5 months got a fairly generic reply, more or less saying 'bad luck'.
I'd hoped someone had had an experience of getting a refund, and what angle to push to actually get a refund. Is there an airline industry body that has regulations, and not offering a refund in some circumstances is against the code??
Jetstar told me the death or illness of a relative is the only possible grounds for refund.
