That's honestly where I figured this thread was headed...

As long as the little cup of fluid for your sandwich is under three ounces, I would think they'd let it through as long as it fits into the baggie with your other fluids. I've taken a bunch of energy gels through security before - I was able to get about six of them into a quart-sized baggie.

I'd make sure to let them know it was there so they take care if they want to look closely at the baggie - those lids usually aren't tight.
