St. Regis Rome SPG Points Question
I'm currently staying at the St. Regis Grand Hotel in Rome, Italy and between myself and the rest of my family, we have two rooms booked for our entire five night stay. When I checked in, I was told that I could only receive points for one of the rooms, the one designated for my personal stay.
This surprised me, as I assumed that as long as I was paying for both rooms, and they were both during the same stay for the same length of time, I should be entitled to credit for all charges, not just half for only one of the two rooms. Should I complain? Or perhaps wait until I return home and fax in the folio requesting total SPG point credit?
Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. This is a fantastic hotel by the way. Very sad to have to leave Italy tomorrow!
