I am in need of help. I flew June 28 using miles on a United ticket. Part of the ticket was on TAP (Air Portugal). My luggage was lost and I still have not been able to get it. My latest information is that it is in Rome.

THe issue - United has been completely unhelpful in helping me get my luggage even though: I booked the ticket through them, it was their error that caused the luggage to be delayed (it was not properly transferred in Newwark), and I am a loyal traveler (Prem Exec).

Also, TAP is equally unhelpful. The number they gave me in Rome is never attended. No one has ever picked up when I called. The TAP folks in the US say they are not sure what to do because they cannot get anyone to answer.

Does anyone have ANY suggestions of people to contact that will actually follow through and help?
