And this *wasn't* an award stay. I was upgraded from an Imperial Room, which ALSO is supposed to have Butler Service.
i had a similar experience but on an award stay of three nights. no butler at all, except when we had ordered the coffee/tea service. mentioned it to the manager (also we never receievd our welcome amenity, actually had to ask about it first before even being offered, then it never arrived; also had a bad incident where they brought us and charged us for breakfast with the coffee/tea even though we had not ordered it), the manager ended up giving me starpoints for the bad service.
