It seems TG does not have flights out of CMB, so you need to start with another carrier, but then there is no direct F from BKK to LAX and trying to make it go through NRT or other options to LAX did not give me anything close to that price. It comes at least twice as much for C.
TG does have flights:
CMB-BKK 02:45 07:05 TG308 T Th F Su
BKK-CMB 23:05 01:25 TG307 M W Th Sa
And I think TG flies a 346 to LAX now, should be F on that.
