17. If my flight is delayed or cancelled, will Southwest sign my ticket over to another airline (Rule 240)?
a. (nsx) Not unless the camera crew of A&E TV's Airline "reality" show is filming. Southwest would have to pay the other airline real money, so accommodating you on another airline is very expensive for Southwest. This step is not taken without an exceptionally good reason for which Southwest and not the passenger is clearly to blame.
