The transfer to Air Canada Aeroplan problem just got a little easier for our Canadian members, although it will still be a little burdensome for us.
Effective immediately - as of yesterday actually - any Canadian member who has the MBNA/SPG credit card and has earned Starpoints from another source other than just using the card, can transfer Starpoints to Aeroplan with no hindrances other than those that would normally be in place; i.e. daily transfer limits of 99,999.
This still has to be done solely through the Customer Contact Center, however. No online transfers will be available.
