AA MEX-SMF $280 r/t
Checked the SMF-MEX on Google flights and there was good availability. Then looked for origin in MEX and found AA at around $280 all in. Link in Google flights goes to Mexican AA site where I was able to get MEX-LAX-SMF for my sister in law for this Saturday returning via PHX later this month. Priced higher on the US AA site so I completed the transaction on American's Mexico site which went through to ticketing without issue.
