This allows positioning for your inbound TATL prior to the Sunday. You can therefore set off from HNL on Friday night arriving in PHX on Saturday morning, do PHX-JFK during Saturday, have a night in NYC on Saturday night and then do your TATL on Sunday.

STOPOVERS NOT PERMITTED ON THE FARE COMPONENT.
If you want to stopover in London on the way back it is a lot cheaper since the APD would only be £26 for the LHR-DUB leg. Therefore at fairly minimal additional cost you can stopover in London on the return to go home, and then do the last leg some weeks or months later at your convenience.
2 transfers permitted in each direction free.
So 2 in Europe and 2 in the US each way.
An overnight connection of up to 24 hrs between flights would be counted as a transfer, anything beyond that would be a stopover.
To HNL the optimal routing is something like ZAG-LHR-XXX-LAX/PHX-HNL and return which gets you 920 TPs. There does also seem to be an IB service between ZAG and MAD so you may be able to do ZAG-MAD-LHR for an extra 40 TPs.
For domestic US flights they now credit at 140/40 rather than 210/60. If you look at
post #2 of this thread there is a list of >2,000 mile flights which will earn 140 TP.
