What is your Priority Club status? Spire Ambassador

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay? Very, it was excellent.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive? Booked cheapest (queen), received upgrade to Club King on top floor.

How are the rooms? Everything looked brand new. The bed was huge and mega comfy. There was also an armchair/footstool and desk. Nespresso machine and bottled water with shortbread were in the room. Fridge/mini bar was empty with a label telling guests to call reception if they wanted it stocking. We didn't bother. Bathroom was big with a walk in shower in addition to a large bath.

How is the exec. lounge? Seating is very comfortable. There were lots of board games which my son enjoyed. Refreshments were somewhat spartan. Hot drinks, juice and fizzy pop were available all day. In the evening between 6 and 9 the booze came out. The snacks were dreadful. The choice was chocolate bars, crisps or a small platter of cured meat, olives and nuts that disappeared quickly and was not replenished. We popped down for breakfast in the morning and there were a few cereal bars by the coffee machine. I asked in the restaurant and they told us to eat there instead.

What was good and what was bad?

Good - staff were pleasant, breakfast was yum, everything was brand new
Bad - nothing to do in the local area, Club Lounge food

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return? We paid £38.70 for two which was fantastic value. The cost of breakfast in the restaurant (which we weren't charged) was £31.90 on its own. We'd be back in a shot at this price.
