Just got the approval notice via email. This was the result of a YYC-SEA flight that was cancelled due to an equipment malfunction that required an overnight stay.
Chase paid out $307.34 to cover:
- Hotel
- Taxis to/from hotel
- Breakfast
- Extra night of airport parking
I'm not sure how they calculated the amount since it's actually for more than I requested but I'm not complaining.
It took about two weeks total as I had to provided additional documentation showing I did have an outbound flight. The fact that the outbound was paid for on a different card didn't seem to matter.
