Greenville, SC is not an exotic destination. It's typical of second tier airports that have limited competition and high fares. Perhaps you would prefer Asheville, NC:

Using actual fares, and actual award availability for the identical flights, I am demonstrating that even those who fly in economy class can achieve more that a $0.0125/point return. It takes some work to redeem miles for more than $0.02, but $0.0125 is effortless (-and- the tickets are more flexible than what you will get if you buy those low end economy class fares.)

If someone find $0.0125 compelling Membership Rewards, Ultimate Rewards, Diners Club Rewards are not the right choice. Go with a 2% cashback card.
