Spire Ambassador
Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes! It's a brand new property opened on 25th April.
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked a Standard Room, received a double upgrade to a Junior Suite.
How are the rooms?
The rooms are just one week old, with great design and look very good indeed. The JS I was staying in is pretty nice - spacious with a living room divided by a wall.
- Large comfortable double bed
- Armchair with footstool
- Workdesk
- Wall mounted TV with a Freeview TV channels
- Pretty small bathroom with no bath tub
- Wardrobe with an iron board, 2 bathrobes and safe
- Minibar with nothing in it
How is the exec. lounge?
N/A
What was good and what was bad?
Good:
- It's a brand new hotel with great design, and nice and quiet rooms
- Good status recognition
- Great location - right between Piccadilly Gardens and the Piccadilly Train Station - 2-3mins walking to either side.
- Good staff, it looks like they've been trained well.
Bad:
Nothing really.
Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Definitely! All in all, that's my priority in Manchester from now on. Much more nicer than the CP Manchester City Centre, and other Holiday Inns.
