I thought I'd update everyone about my Allegiant air purchase:
- Purchase >$250 showed up as travel agent (as mentioned up thread)
- PM'd and was told to fax in ticket receipt (did this w/in 2 days)
- Waited till statement closing (no credit)
- PM'd and was told they never received fax (but I had a confirmation of successful fax transmission)
- Called in and talked to CSR (no real resolution). Did not fax again.
- Received postal letter stating that they'd received fax (???)
- Credit appeared 60 days later.
So it does work. Just takes some time and effort. I'm very grateful they were willing to go the extra mile to provide the credit.
