Hi, I recommend that you try to get Gold status before arrival, because free breakfast is really worth it. In Germany and the US you can get a Hilton Creditcard, which gives you instant Gold Status as long as you have the credit card.
Or try to do a status match if you have a higher status at another Hotel program.
