I am due to fly MIA-LAX on AA 2572, which is operated by AS.
I booked and paid for Coach and was perfectly happy with this.
However, due to (
long boring story omitted) I am now the proud holder of an AA Transportation Voucher to the value of GBP 129.00 (I am based in the UK).
I believe that it might be possible to buy an Airport Upgrade to First Class shortly before my flight, subject of course to availability...
So, a few questions arise:
Does anyone know if the voucher would be valid for this purpose ?
Do you think it would matter that it's denominated in British Pounds ?
Would I able to do this online or would I need to go to the AA (or AS ?) desk at MIA ?
