Sheraton Macau (now Sheraton Grand Macau) has a different sort of MAGC. I was just there and asked about MAGC when I checked in at the Gold/Plat registration desk. Nice lady who checked me in said she "almost forgot" to ask me about MAGC. It appears that if you ask you will get 250 points, a $40 MOP credit to use in the hotel restaurants and a free drink at one of the hotel outlets. Was only there 2 nights so no idea if it's per night or per stay. I used my free drink on a soda so I have no idea if it was good for alcohol. They gave me a little voucher for the drink and F & B credit. I used every bit of it.
There were no flyers in the room and I didn't see any on door knobs either.
And I got my welcome amenity on top of it. Just checked, points are all posted.
Guess it's like the secret menu at In-N-Out.
