IC Dallas

IC Dallas

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?

Yes, very much so.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked standard, received executive suite.

How are the rooms?
The executive suite is the third highest room category. It's a bi-level suite on the hotel's top floor. The living room is on the bottom floor, and the bedroom is up two sets of stairs above it. I like the design of the room...it makes it feel like an apartment or condo which is nice when you're traveling on business and want to feel at home.

How is the exec. lounge?
The lounge is nice, and very quiet. There is a continental breakfast in the morning, and happy hour each night from 1730-1930. Some wines and a nice selection of beers. There were some snacks, cheese and crackers, fruit, and chicken wings.

Did you receive a welcome gift?
Chocolates and fruit.

How was the minibar?
Minibar is great. Excellent selection of everything. Juices, waters, sodas, energy drinks. Tons of nips, two bottles each of everything else (white wine, red wine, champagne, etc.)

What was good and what was bad?

-Good
Nice upgrade. Free club lounge access. The property itself is beautiful, with a very nice lobby and bar.

-Bad
Nothing. The hotel isn't really near downtown Dallas, but there are a ton of restaurants and shops nearby.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
Excellent value. At near $100 per night, this would be an excellent location to spend some nights towards RA qualification. It's one of the cheaper IC locations in the program (similar in price to IC Chicago and IC Tampa). And for around $100 a night you can't beat the room, club lounge, and free mini bar.

Would you return?[/QUOTE]
Yes, definitely.
