Some notes for Mahón / Maó / Menorca - MAH.

It's a small airport and do-able as back to back. There appears to be a direct route back to airside, avoiding additional security, but I've not tried it and any experiences welcome. Quite a few Vueling and Iberia options from here too.

The arrival from the aircraft is by bus, to the south end of the small airport building. Arrivals ground level, checkin level 1, departures level 2.

From the bus there's a passageway that leads to the Schengen border, which isn't only loosely implemented, then a hall with windows, on the leftside, on to the apron. Go straight ahead. Half way down the building, after the 3rd jetty (gate 9) along there is an unsigned set of stairs which goes up to airside. At the top of the stairs it is signposted gates 1 - 16 but this is not visible from passports. BA leaves from one of the higher gates at the south end by Burger King, higher than 11, normally 16. Passports checks for leaving Schengen, if they bother with them, is immediately before the last gate check before boarding the bus back to the aircraft.

If that route isn't passable, then it should still be easy to do it via landside. After passports, turn right into the baggage reclaim, out to the landside arrivals hall. Then on the left there is a glass lift in the middle of the arrival hall, take this to the top floor (2), and security is right behind you. No fast track but it's an efficient airport. After the usual duty free extravaganza, bear left toward Burger King and the BA gate.
