Booked Queen Suite, given same (as expected given PB).
How are the rooms?
Like any SS, well-designed. Mini-kitchen upon entry with full-sized fridge, microwave, two-burner stove, dishwasher. Square-shaped room roughly 6m x 6m. Sink outside bathroom area.
How is the exec. lounge?
N/A.
What was good and what was bad?
Good:
-Super-friendly staff
-Expertly-equipped rooms, great for long-term stays
-Wonderful breakfast with many quality hot & cold options (loved the fresh melons)
-Dinner provided TUE-WED-THU
-Good shower pressure, ergonomic shower head
-Plush towels
-Quiet, slept great
-Nice outdoor patio area with two large barbecues and putting green
-Warm indoor pool & modern fitness machines
-3 washers & 3 dryers free to use
Bad:
-No HD channels
-Absolutely NOTHING in the immediate area. No gas stations, convenience stores. Nothing. You need a car here. Nearest store is a 3km walk. On weekends, buses shut down at 7pm (very strange)
-Breakfast area is a ZOO
-One of two public PCs completely outdated adobe/java. Printer had issues the entire time. Tried to fix to print a ticket, got it working, next day same issues
Value for $ or IHG Rewards Club Points? Would you return?
In my case a quick PB stay, thus incredible value. Rates normally around $120, less for L-T stays.
