Information Regarding Impact of Hailstorm Damage To Frontier Airlines Operation
DENVER, June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT - news) today announced that four of its 27 aircraft sustained damage during a hailstorm that occurred at Denver International Airport last evening, Wednesday, June 20. The airline reported an Airbus A319, a Boeing 737-200 and two Boeing 737-300s suffered damage to the wing, flap and spoiler regions. The airline plans to cancel approximately 15 flights on Thursday, June 21 and will assess additional cancellations as they work to repair the damage.
