UA is very stingy rewarding passengers on First Class tickets. If the trip above were credited to Mileage Plus, one would earn 22176 status miles. As a 1K, you would earn 34264 total Mileage Plus miles including 1K bonus and Class of Service bonus. Mileage Plus seems to be designed to encourage high fare passengers to go elsewhere.
