There is also no need to pointlessly route via OSL when travelling to HEL. LON-HEL is 160TP return as it is a SH+ route. The cheapest return fare is £378 at present.
I couldn't find the £378 fare, was that direct on BA? ITA was showing around £800 for BA direct on the same date as the OSL routing on AY. Re the cost, it depends on the OP's drivers, personally I find it worthwhile to maintain Silver, because whilst I fly F or CW long haul, I usually only ever fly ET short haul so lounge access is a nice extra.
