No. It is 5x to 2500. I have seen this kind of offers probably a doz times over the course owning Premium and Preferred. It is always capped at 2500 and it is always just an extra 4x. The 5x is including the 1x you already have. The usual deceiving marketing Citi employed.
Got this pop up when logged in online. In the past it was a snail mail and an email, but this time it is a pop up window at log in. Got the same identical offer in Q4 2014 on the same card. Happened to need a computer and cable modem so spent about $439 at BBY. Did not bother with the rest. ($500 max).
